Susan Rossiter, our July instructor in Fodder School 5, has designed a collection of Mid-Century-Modern Pattern stamps! Susan Rossiter was first introduced to Willa Workshops as a teacher in Fodder School 5 (check out her Instagram account @soozrossiter for some truly gorgeous eye candy).
Susan's patterns are inspired by the many Mid-Century textile designers she frequently references in her own work.
Personally, I had a lot of fun making many colorways of patterns with Susan's stamps and using them to take my May FS5 tray project in a different direction.
Here's how Susan describes her collection:
“This collection of ArtFoamies has variations of some of my favorite designs and I used them, quite literally, to make patterns on collage papers using my gel plate. They’re great for creating backgrounds, wallpaper, tablecloths, or curtains in an interior portrait painting. I also love using these when I make artist trading cards. ”
